Dragon Touch Y88X Plus Android 4.4.4 Tablet Review

When Dragon Touch Y88X Plus tablet caught my eye, I decided to try one, especially taking into account the price and features. So far I have been completely satisfied with its' overall performance. Remember, this is my first tablet!

First off, a fully functional Android 4.4.4 tablet with an IPS display. I can't even begin to describe how good of a deal that is. After playing around with the tablet for a while, the screen definitely has a good brightness indoors, and has as much of a viewing angle as you could ever need. It is plenty easy for both of my sons to see despite whoever is holding it, and however much they are angle-ing it away from the other. One of the reasons I purchased this is for an upcoming long trip, and putting movies onto a standard tablet can be problematic. As this is android, any file type will work with the right app, but more important than the OS, it has a MicroSD slot!

I like the fact that it does not require a contract since I mainly use Dragon Touch Y88X Plus at home or at work, where I can use the Wi Fi connection. I have also found it can be tethered to my smartsphone to access the Internet. Took me a while to figure that one out, but it is possible! Just use Google to find out how. It does perform exactly as described.

In fact, a few days after purchasing one for myself, I ended up purchasing another for my partner who has experienced the same results a myself. Overall we both are completely satisfied with Dragon Touch Y88X Plus.

KingPad K90 Android 4.4.4 9'' Quad Core Tablet Review

I am a huge fan of KingPad K90 tablet. The screen is very large which I absolutely love. Getting a 9 inch tablet that runs this well for this price is nearly impossible. The screen is clear and crisp at the brightest setting. You can also dim it to save on battery life and it makes for a better reading experience. The display and screen are customize-able as well.
I was able to connect my google account and immediately start downloading apps. My sons apps played very well, as did mine on this tablet. The battery life is great when you are reading or just surfing. It is good if you are watching videos but does tend to run out faster. It is ultra thin which makes it super easy to carry around. I recommend a case or it gets scratched easy. Downloading my two favorite apps was a breeze Facebook & YouTube. I connected to my WiFi and downloaded them directly from the Google Play store. They run very well and haven't froze up on me. I think that the 4.4 doesn't run as well as the 5.0 but still runs well.
The camera isn't the greatest on this tablet but most tablets do not have the greatest cameras. It does do well with Skype which was also pretty easy to download. I Skype my brother over seas and we didn't have any problems. The sound quality is awesome. This is great to watch music videos, it sounds awesome. The bass gets a little wonky when it is fully turned up but you would expect that from a tablet.
Tablets can have many different types of operating systems such as iOS (Apple), Android, and Windows. KingPad K90 comes with Android 4.4.4 which is not the newest version of Android software, but it is a very solid and trusted operating system. The operating system is super easy to use and intuitive, many people even think it is easier to use than Apple. You can definitely do more, or at least more unique things with Android than you can with Apple software. Because it is Android, you have access to the Play Store and you can choose from literally millions of different apps.

I am very pleased with the quality of this tablet for the price.

Dragon Touch M10X 16 GB Tablet Review

Dragon Touch M10X tablet is excellent in terms of internal security as well. Something that has recently began popping up on Android is a device-based app security manager. This internal app security manager lets you look right at the various permissions (by category) so you can directly see what is going on without having to go through each application individually via Settings > Applications to review their permissions. The default browser is pretty good, too. As soon as I popped up the Google Search Page, it directly prompted me if I wanted Google to access my GPS, and continued to do so with other webpages that wanted additional "information". There is also a first time seen Settings option for managing and disabling applications that have that usually edgy permissions "Start Up at Boot". Very cool!

Update: Extra sweetness! When I installed a game with Push Notifications, the tablet actually popped up a window asking me if I wanted to allow or disallow them. Frankly, this internal security is the most direct and simplest for anyone to use that I have ever seen. I tapped OFF, and the game went on its merry way. :)

Graphics are clean and crisp for an IPS display. The Contixo Q103 has slightly better multi-angle view IPS display, yet this M10X is certainly in the upper tier for IPS displays in general. Touch response is excellent, WiFi reception smooth, even with my somewhat twitchy connection (my YouTube streaming at the end of the video was on 2 bars). Camera is only 5MP rear, yet clear and vibrant, and I love that pinch zoom. Front camera is okay, jerky FPS and lower resolution, yet again clear. The power button placement is going fool me for awhile since I am so used to it being on the top corners, but at least the MIC down in the lower right is out of the way for normal hand placement. And this does mirrocast like a champ, using a Mini HDMI cord.

Twin speakers, but both placed on the left side, thus showing this tablet was designed for primary Portrait display. The volume output is rather low, too, even cranked up to maximum, yet I always use a Bluetooth speaker or headphones for actual "serious" listening, so personally that is a non-issue. It's perfectly fine for game audio and such, and all tablets (even my Samsung Tab 3) all have pathetic sound output. Nevertheless, between the Portrait orientation placement and the low overall max volume, I have to say it is somewhat mediocre for a default sound source.

Up to a certain point, this tablet is quite a fabulous tablet. That point being the final resolution of the memory question has left a bitter taste in my mouth; between the OS's own display and Dragon Touch's personal confirmation that this was supposed to be completely non-partitioned had me quite stoked.

In the grand scheme of things, compared to what is normally out there on the Market, this is still a really sweet tablet (considering that even if the memory was really partitioned in the first place, so is nearly everything else). Frankly, if it was supposed to be partitioned in the first place and had a properly displaying System Storage Screen, I'd still give this full stars as being such a fast, responsive, and solid tablet. The main knock is due to the confusion created by the Storage display and the conflicting download results I have been getting.

Review Dragon Touch M7 Android 4.4 tablet pc

Dragon Touch M7 is an excellent tablet for the price. Tablet arrived in professional packaging.
Battery was fully charged and the tablet started right up. Decent instructions.
Everything has worked with no problems. WI-fi, Bluetooth, GPS - all function well.

I downloaded Netflix to check out the video. The screen resolution is not the highest,
but is more than adequate on the 7" screen. Screen is bright with a good viewing angle
and video ran with no problems and looked fine. Sound quality is good. There is a mini
HDMI connector to connect to your full HD TV. I did not try this yet.

Camera is 2 MP. It has voice capture and face detection, but no flash. Just OK.
It will take 720P video but not at 30 FPS. The camera also has 4X digital zoom for both
still and video. Front camera appears to be .3 MP. Good enough for a web chat.

The tablet comes with an AC charger for the mini USB port, and will also charge
directly from a USB port on your PC. When you peel off the protective plastic on
the screen you will find that there is already a screen protector installed.

I had 1 stupid question so I e-mailed customer support late in the afternoon. I had
a reply with an answer the next morning. There is also phone support available.

All in all this is an excellent tablet for this price and I would definitely recommend it.

Review Dragon Touch E97 Tablet

Dragon Touch M10X
Dragon Touch M10X

Dragon Touch M10X
When I got Dragon Touch E97 tablet in the mail I was like excited to have something new to play with. Now this phone has 1Gb Ram 16Gb Nand Flash. It does have a micro SD card slot so you can add memory space in case you feel cramped on storage however.

The screen is a 9.7 inch screen which is a decent size for a tablet, not the largest but works great for the size and the resolution of the display. When I opened the box you get the glimpse of what is to come with a fun new experience.
Now one thing that threw me off was when I heard and read that this is a fully functioning phone also. I mean who would of thought to make a 9.7″ tablet a phone also.

Now to support this function however you need a SIM card from your phone company. Note that not all cell companies are compatible. I will place a snip it from there post on what they say about the cell and SIM card use.

Unlocked worldwide phablet. 3G 850/1900/2100, 2G- 850/900/1800/1900. Compatible with AT&T and other GSM networks. Not compatible with CDMA network, such as Verizon. Please make sure your SIM card is not locked with PUK code before use Dragon Touch E97 phablet. Now there is a great little feature that I was not truly expecting. This tablet has a FM Radio so you can listen to your favorite channel without even using the Internet or Wi-Fi.

To use this device you need to plug in your headset and use it as a antenna. Now this does not mean you need to listen through the headset but it will require it for reception.

So as the testing went on I played games, watched videos. I used Netflix, Hulu, and a few other services. There were no issues unless it came to my Wi-Fi signal dropping or lagging due to the wind we had.

I played Angry birds, Asphalt 8, and one of my favorites Hearthstone. All ran smoothly which from others I heard have not been able to play Hearthstone on older model Dragon Touch tablet. Which you can see in the next few pictures played fine for me, and this was the default Tablet OS without any rooting. To me this tablet has it all that you could need from the gamer, to the student, or the casual user. This can also work for those who want to use it for eBooks I’m sure.

All and all this tablet has all the marks for a great device including a nice camera. You could not go wrong with this Tablet for the price in my opinion.

Dragon Touch M8 Android 4.4 Dual Camera Tablet Review

I am a big fan of Dragon Touch M8 tablet. The size makes it great for reading, watching YouTube videos, and playing apps. The tablet has a sleek white design that fits right into the case I got with it. It is definitely the slimmest tablet that we own and it makes it easy to transport with us. The screen is big, bright, and clear. Getting this tablet set up is super easy and faster than other tablets I have reviewed.

PROS:
-Battery lasts several hours when just reading or surfing the internet. If you are watching videos you will need to plug in more often.
-Brightness is adjustable. If you lower the brightness the battery life lasts longer. Turning the brightness up makes for better reading quality in sunlight.
-Touch responds quickly.
-Sound quality is AWESOME. I am incredibly impressed with the sound, it runs better than some of my blue-tooth speakers.
-The screen is very clear. Videos are crisp and easy to see.
-It runs Andriod 5.0
-Apps run great. It never freezes on me or stalls. I am able to play all of my previous apps with no issues. I was able to download some higher quality apps that my old tablet couldn't handle as well. My sons fisher price app runs beautifully on this.
-It charges with a universal Micro USB cable.
-Transferring information is easy, you don't have to start over. We plugged it into our computer with a USB cable and transferred everything easily from our old tablet to the new one, including all of our books.
Overall, Dragon Touch M8 is a great product for the price. You can do a lot with it that you can do with a high end tablet. I am very happy with the battery life!

Dragon Touch X10 Android 5.1 Tablet Review

The Dragon Touch X10 is an excellent tablet that’s received hundreds of positive reviews thanks to its long battery life, light weight, large display and also expandable storage. If you’re currently pondering buying a tablet and you’d like to make sure you get the best bang for your buck, then we highly recommend that you consider the Dragon Touch X10. Below we’re going to take a closer look at its specs and features to help you understand why so many people consider it the tablet of the year.
Extremely efficient and powerful
The X10 features the A83T Octa Core CPU clocked at 2 GHz and the PowerVR SGX544 GPU which runs at an impressive 700 MHz. As you can see from these two numbers alone, the tablet can handle just about any game you throw at it and run it seamlessly. However, given all that power, you may wonder just how long it can last on a single charge. Well, the X10 has a massive battery of 7200 mAH, allowing you to use it for up to 9h without having to worry about charging it. Compared to most other tablets of its caliber, the Dragon Touch X10 is obviously a lot more power efficient.
A bigger and overall superior quality display
Since the screen is an IPS panel, you can expect to get sharp, crispy and overall excellent image quality regardless if you’re playing games or just surfing the web. On top of that, Dragon Touch have incorporated their highly acclaimed SmartColor technology, meaning that the X10’s image quality is distinctly superior to that of most tablets currently on the market. Speaking of which, the screen is 10 inch long, which means that reading on it is a breeze. On top of that, there’s also much less scrolling.
Main features:
Excellent performance: Given the fact the X10 features the powerful Cortex A7 CPU with 8 cores, you can expect nothing short of jaw dropping performance when using it. This means that not only can you play games, but also watch videos, listen to your favorite music, browse the web and much more with not as much as a single drop in performance. Better yet, since it supports H.265 decoding, streaming 4K videos and videos in general is a seamless experience.
Entertainment at your fingertips: The X10 comes with Google Play preinstalled, meaning that installing any app you want is at the tip of your fingers. Whether you want to keep in touch with your friends on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter or maybe download the latest games, you can easily do that through the Google Play Store. The camera on the X10 is also very impressive, with the rear camera boasting 2MP and the front camera boasting 5 MP. Both cameras feature autofocus, allowing you to take sharp and crisp photos that you can then share on social media.
Great functionality across the board: No more will you need to wait for your videos to load, since the Dragon Touch X10 features a next generation Wi-Fi module that allows for lightning fast loading times, regardless if we’re talking about making video calls, streaming music or just browsing the web. The tablet also features a Bluetooth port (built-in) allowing you to pair it with your favorite Bluetooth devices. There’s also an HDMI port that makes it a breeze to sync your screen with your TV, while the USB port can power up most portable USB devices.
Brilliant Display: With a resolution of 1366 by 768 pixels, the ten inch screen of the X10 never misses a detail. And since we’re talking about an IPS panel, you can easily share what you’re watching with your friends and family without having to worry about viewing angle. In fact, the X10 has a 178 degree viewing angle, meaning that anyone, no matter if they’re behind you or next to you, can easily see what you’re seeing.
The touch screen experience is also nothing short of incredible and that’s because the tablet features ten point multi-touch technology. As a result, using the X10 is a very responsive, accurate and overall great experience.
Responsive and friendly local customer service (US): Whether you need some help to update your firmware or have any other questions, you can call the customer service line and they’ll be more than happy to help you sort it out.
What do users say about it?
According to most reviews left by users online, it seems that the X10 is an incredibly powerful and overall excellent tablet for multitasking, gaming and everything in between. One user called MJ Cornelius for instance is elated about his purchase and says that: “My old Samsung tablet started to freeze on me just a few months after buying it, so I was really upset about it. However, a friend of mine told me about the Dragontouch X10 and after trying it out in my local computer store, I was floored of how much better it was. Thanks to its powerful GPU and 2 GHz CPU, great touch performance and insane battery life, I can safely say Dragon touch has earned a loyal customer for life. It’s simply that great!”
All in all, the Dragon Touch X10 is an incredible tablet that’s far ahead of what the popular brands currently have on offer. Better yet, thanks to its incredible set of features, powerful CPU/GPU and sharp display, it’s safe to say that this is one of the best tablets you can currently buy. Highly recommended!

Dragon Touch i10X Tablet 2-in-1 Notebook Review

The Dragon Touch i10X is a tablet for developers .

Design
It's a very neat and flawless design, with well-ordered ports and no unsightly stick-out buttons.More importantly, the Dragon Touch i10X is relatively slender and pleasingly light, so can be comfortably used one-handed for extended periods. That soft-touch, textured back helps grip, while the bezels around the display are just wide enough to keep your thumbs from straying onto the screen.

As well as a micro USB port for charging, you get a micro HDMI port to hook up to a big screen or projector (something rarely found on tablets, but essential for the Convergence feature). You also get a microSD memory card slot.

Screen and media

The Dragon Touch i10X's 10.1-inch screen isn't a Full HD panel, but the 1280x800 pixel resolution is perfectly fine for editing documents and playing with creative software. Colours are subdued and the screen is lodged firmly at the 'cold' end of the spectrum, with whites sporting a blue-ish tint. The screen is certainly easy to view in bright light, although also quite harsh on the eyeballs when you're pulling a late-night session compared with warmer displays.

The touchscreen is of course perfectly responsive to touch and recognises all of the standard gestures, although the likes of pinch-to-zoom isn't recognised in many apps such as LibreOffice.

As for audio quality, the Dragon Touch i10X's dual speakers at the base of the tablet are basic at best. They'll do for watching a YouTube video or two, but music sounds very tinny.

Cameras

The Dragon Touch i10X also comes equipped with a couple of very basic cameras, an 5-megapixel snapper on the rear and a 2-megapixel camera on the front of the tablet. We're not really sure why that rear lens even exists, as we can't imagine many users snapping away with the Dragon Touch i10X.

Give Dad the Gift of Technology With the KingPad Tablet (Customer Review)

Dad’s can be complicated to buy for, it’s true. So when I see something that I think is a good fit for almost any dad, I like to share it.
Consider giving Dad the gift of technology this Father’s Day with the KingPad K100 10 inch Quad Core Google Android 4.4 16 GB Dual Camera Tablet PC.
I was happy to receive a KingPad Tablet to give my husband for Father’s Day, and he absolutely loved it! Here’s a little bit about the KingPad Tablet:
KingPad K100 Specification:
— Google Android 4.4 (KitKat)
— 10.6” IPS Multi-touch screen 1366×768
— Quad Core 4×1.2GH
— 16 GB storage,1GB RAM
— Dual Camera: 2.0 MP
— Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Standard USB, Micro USB
— G-sensor
— Battery: 7200 mAH
It also comes with an AC adapter, USB connection cable, and of course the user manual and offers a 1 year defect warranty guarantee and 100% satisfaction.
The thing my husband liked best was actually the size! In comparison to my tiny tablet, the KingPad is huge and perfect for when he wants to sit on the couch and surf the web. It’s much easier on his eyes than using his phone, and the large screen shows more content, so there’s actually way less scrolling you have to do.
He has used it to scroll Facebook, watch movies and look up websites without any issues. The colors are also really bright and vibrant, making the screen easy to read and view.
A tablet is also handy as it can be taken places much easier than a laptop. Even though the KingTablet is large, it transports easily in a small bag or briefcase.
To tell you the truth, all the kids were fighting over the tablet, my 19 year old daughter really wanted it. But alas, it went to daddy. Of course she’ll get to borrow it on occasion I’m sure!

Dragon Touch i10X Windows 10 Tablet Review (2016)

Get work done without the high price tag of a Surface tablet. The Dragon Touch i10X tablet gives you a versatile Windows 10 tablet for a lot less.

PROs
  • Windows 10: The Dragon Touch i10X tablet comes pre-loaded with the Home edition of Windows 10. The setup process was easy and I was up and running in no time. Windows 10 defaulted to “desktop mode” which is ideal when you have the tablet in the included keyboard case. And the tablet can easily be switched to “tablet mode” in the Action Center for when you’re using it sans keyboard.
  • Keyboard case: The case’s magnetic flaps allow it to fold up and nicely prop up the tablet to a familiar “laptop” angle. The integrated keyboard has a proprietary magnetic connector that holds the tablet in place while allowing you to remove it easy. The keyboard keys are a little more cramp than a traditional computer, but still very usable. The integrated touchpad is also responsive and can be disabled by pressing Fn+Alt. This is usual for when you will be typing for long periods and don’t want your hand to inadvertently move the cursor.
  • Display: The 10 inch display provides ample room for using Windows 10, even in “desktop mode”, although you may find “tablet mode” to be more ideal. The screen is bright and vivid, and the IPS feature means that the display doesn’t look washed out when viewing it at an angle.
  • 64GB of storage: While only about 49GB is available for use out-of-the-box, this still provides ample storage for a handful of applications, as well as your personal documents and photos. You also have the option of using cloud storage, such as the built-in OneDrive, as well as using a Micro SD card to expand the storage.
  • Bluetooth: The integrated Bluetooth allows you to pair it with a Bluetooth mouse or a Bluetooth speaker.
  • Full-sized USB port: You can easily attached a flash drive without needing to use an OTG adapter (although, one is included for the Micro USB port)
CONs
  • 2GB of RAM: Many consider this to be the minimum for Windows 10 (well, technically 1GB is the minimum for Windows 10 32-bit). However, the tablet can handle running multiple programs at once, but you may notice increased slowness or hesitations when switching between applications. If you tend to focus on 1 application at a time and close out your applications when you’re done with them, then this may not be an issue for you.
  • Speakers: Sound quality from the built-in speakers is low and tinny, but you connect headphone or pair the tablet with a Bluetooth speaker if you plan to play music and stream Pandora.
  • Cameras: The built-in cameras are not the best quality and require a lot of light for decent pictures. But they are functional for a quick Skype call.
  • Special charger: The tablet comes with an uncommon charger with a barrel connector. You’ll want to keep track of this and not lose it. However, I did find that the Micro USB port can be used to charge the tablet if needed, although it may not be as fast as the supplied charger.
Overall, the Dragon Touch i10X is a functional tablet and is ideal for students and business professionals alike. The included keyboard case gives you a laptop-like experience and makes working on documents convenient. And the tablet provides plenty of connectivity options such as a Mini HDMI output, a full-sized USB port, and integrated Bluetooth.

Dragon Touch i8 pro Tablet Review

Since I have had Dragon Touch i8 pro tablet close to the first day it came out and I really am pleased with it, even more so now. When I purchaded it, I was looking for a 8.0 size and a tablet that would do what I wanted a nice and useful tablet yet not the most pricey one out there. Hence, I bought this Dragon Touch i8 pro and am so pleased with it.  I like this screen because I found that the webpages are easier to read and clearer, I did not have to scroll to the right. Also I found that the pictures on a website were easier to view. I could read the larger text better, read my eBooks much clearer, emails better etc. This is my personal discovery from my testing of this and comparing it to my older tablet.

Very good battery life! For me, I have found that I am constantly on WiFi (Internet). The tablet I find is quite responsive and peppy with no lagging. The Lollipop runs this tablet wonderfully.

This tablet connects SUPER quickly to my home WiFi and has never ever dropped the WIFi signal no matter where I am in my home. WiFi is VERY STRONG using this device, even when I am very far from my router I still have 4.5 bars! To test the speed and strength of this WiFi and compare it to my other Android devices, I went to the Playstore and got the free app called WiFi Analyzer. This is a MUST HAVE app for any Android device as it gives you a visual report on the WiFi strength of your tablet, phone etc.

Dragon Touch M8 8 inch 16 GB Bluetooth 4.0 Tablet review

My first impression of the Dragon Touch M8 tablet was that it seemed like a great mid-sized tablet. This one is 8 inches so it's perfect for people who feel a 10 inch tablet is too big, and a 6 inch tablet is too small.

Before I get into the technical details, the most important thing I always do whenever I try a new tablet is see how well it runs my existing Apps. This tablet is running Android 5.0 (Lollipop), so it rant every App I tried perfectly. I ran Firefox, Netflix, Pandora, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and a bunch of games like Minion Rush and several of the Angry Birds series.

The bottom line is that regardless of all the bells and whistles a tablet has, the most important thing is that it runs the Apps you want to use well, and this tablet ran all of my favorite apps perfectly.

On the technical side, it's got a Quad Core CPU and 1GB of DDR3 memory, so it's a bit faster than some of the older generations of tablets. It has 16 GB of flash memory, which is typical of most Android tablets, and it a Micro-SD slot to add up to 32 GB more if you need it.

One of the best features of this tablet is it's IPS screen. Among other things, this means that unlike older generation screens, you can see the screen from just about any angle and still see a clear picture. This is particularly important when two or more people are viewing it at the same time, from different angles.

It also has Bluetooth, WiFi and an HDMI port for connecting it directly to your TV and a built-in GPS, which means that if you download your maps in advance, you can use this as a dedicated GPS without using a cellular connection.

I was sent a sample for review and I was very impressed by the performance and features. It's a great value for the price.

I hope you found this review helpful. Questions and comments are welcome!

Dragon Touch Y88X Plus Tablet Review

Dragon Touch Y88X Plus tablet is already available. The Dragon Touch Y88X Plus comes with an 7-inch Full HD LCD display. We’re looking at a 16:10 aspect ratio, instead of the more common 16:9 or 4:3. That should make it a good compromise for users who want a great experience when watching videos and reading or browsing.

Tabletexpress bills the Dragon Touch Y88X Plus 7'' as a great device for reading e-books. The mode dims out the blue light emitted by the screen, which is known to inhibit sleep. If using electronic devices in bed tends to keep you awake, you may want to try this feature – it works for all activities, like browsing or using Facebook, not just reading.

The Dragon Touch Y88X Plus’s other specifications: There’s  1.3GHz octa-core processor, 512MB of RAM, 8GB of storage, along a microSD card. The two cameras both are 2MP, while power is supplied by the 4,800 mAh unit. At least the software is on par, with Marshmallow running the show.
